We had a "SNOW DAY" in South Carolina at the beginning of 2018! Talk about an amazing way to start the year off. My parents and I always get excited when we see snow especially when it's in our home state. We were acting like we were kids all day in the snow going out and playing then coming in to warm up, then repeat. It was the perfect way to have fun before we got back into the swing of working. ![]() We practically forced my big brother and his fiance Michaela to come over and play in the snow with us. After they arrived we walked down to the creek in our neighborhood and it was absolutely breathtaking. ![]() The walking path was covered in snow as was the bridge. I'm still amazed that we got 7" of snow in South Carolina and I loved every minute. Well except the ice in our driveway I can't tell you how many times I almost fell. ![]() Right after Daisee Mae was added to our family we had the big ice storm. She was just a wee little thing when there was a smidgen of snow. This time she was having a blast in the snow. Running, chasing her frisbee, and walking down the street in the snow and snowflakes. I think she enjoyed it just as much we did. Well that's all for now; it was incredible to have a snow day and we all felt so thrilled that the Lord allowed it to "Snow in Dixie". I'll write again about the wedding as soon as I have pictures to go along with it. In the meantime we're working on organizing and putting everything back in it's place so we can return to work. Love, Daisee Mae Creations
