Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Dads!

We had a great day with my Daddy and GrandaPa. This Father's Day my dad actually treated my Mama and I by taking us all out for lunch/dinner at Gilligan's dock side restaurant in Moncks Corner. It was so much fun, as well as, such a blessing not to have to cook on such a sorcher of a day. We were able to sit by the windows while eating our delicious food and enjoyed the beautiful view. Both my daddy and grandapa love shrimp which is what almost all of us ended up ordering. We're extremely thankful to still have my Grandapa, who is 82 years old, especially since we lost my Granddad years ago when I was just a little thing.

Picture
We miss him dearly but know he's in a much better place. My Dad is the best ever, when I was looking for a card to give him I found a card that said "Dad, I may not know how to jiggle the commode handle or tinker with my car, but you taught me the most important thing of all....To get you to do it for me!!" That sums up our relationship perfectly, I never have to worry about doing anything with my car because he has always taken care of it for me. So I truly feel blessed not just because he will come running to kill a bug or take care of my car, also because he's a man of faith and loves the Lord. Hopefully everyone has a great dad or role model in their life and if you haven't got one don't worry you always have our Heavenly Father and that's the best of all.

 Happy Mother's Day!

My Mama is the easiest person for me to purchase for because she's my best friend and we are together constantly, working on the business and just living (yes, I still live with my parents and I'm happy about it). This Mother's Day I purchased a new coffee mug for her to use to drink her 3 cups of morning coffee. She's a coffee drinker and will drink this big cup in the mornings before she can start her day; which, makes a coffee cup PERFECT for her. Daddy purchased her a beautiful new Hummingbird Feeder with Sunflowers (her fav. flower) on it so she can bird watch while drinking her morning coffee on our back porch. All in all it was a nice Mother's Day for her because she was able to see my siblings and recieved several other presents. We were sad because my GrandaMa isn't with us anymore and she was such an integral part of our lives. Today was busy but I managed to snap a couple pictures to document the day. We hope you were able to celebrate Mother's Day with loved ones.

Love,

Exciting News!!!

Hey Y'all! We are beyond excited to announce that we will be a "PERMANENT" vendor at the 2018 Summerville Farmers Market. This will be our second year attending the market as a vendor and our first time having a permanent space. The Lord is being so faithful because we have been praying since we sent in our application that His will would be done regarding whether we were offered a spot at the market. It's our desire that everything regarding this business is done with His assurance and that it's in His will because we're in the Faith business. We started this business with faith that He wanted us doing it and we just feel like something good is about to happen. This is just the beginning and we are thrilled to be sharing it with the locals as well as all the tourists.

So if y'all are in the Summerville area this Saturday April 14th stop by and see us. We'll be out there from 8am-1pm in the Town Hall Parking lot.

Happy Resurrection Day 2018

We enjoyed a Happy Resurrection Day with our loved ones and hope y'all did as well. This day isn't meant to celebrate us or about receiving candy. Resurrection Day is a day that we step back and thank the Lord for 'Rising from the Grave' and becoming our human sacrifice. Christ and what He did at the Cross is the reason that we enjoy Easter because we are celebrating our Creator the Lord of all who died just for us. We have heard the saying "when He was hanging on the cross He was thinking specifically about me" and this can be said for everyone on this planet. Even though it's important to celebrate Resurrection Day on this specific day, we should remember every day and throughout the year what Christ did for us and thank Him continually.

We love to enjoy the other part of the Easter holiday as well, like dying eggs, eating too many Reese's eggs, as well as watching the "Ten Commandments". It doesn't matter your age for you to be able to enjoy these things. My GrandaMa was 80 years old and she stilled enjoyed dying eggs.

Happy Resurrection Day and lots of love to everyone!!

Love,

Spring Has Sprung!

Happy Spring Y'all~

We honestly cannot believe that it's almost time for Easter to be here; which, means Farmers Market Season will be opening. In the south, the spring can arrive extremely early compared to the northern states. Our Azaleas are blooming with several at full bloom before today the official start of Spring. By now we are usually ready for Spring; although, with spring comes the nasty side effects for us of allergies and sinus issues.

Personally I adore spring because of all the flowers and as y'all should know by now I love anything floral hence the name of my business and dog, Daisee Mae. At the beginning of March, I was able to snap a few pictures of my grandparents plants blooming that I'm going to share with y'all.

PictureBradford Pear Tree
One thing that I love to do and almost pursued was photography; however, it was not in the Lord's plan for me to do that so now it's just a hobby when I have the time. It's not surprising that I prefer to be behind the camera instead of in front of it. LOL

We are working on new products and have several different coaster designs that we're excited for y'all to see. Spring is the time for new products and sitting on the porch with an iced sweet tea (don't forget your puppy.)

Now it's time for me to get back to work and see if I can add new items to our websites and update our social media platforms.

Night Night!

Snow Day 2018

1/12/2018

We had a "SNOW DAY" in South Carolina at the beginning of 2018! Talk about an amazing way to start the year off. My parents and I always get excited when we see snow especially when it's in our home state. We were acting like we were kids all day in the snow going out and playing then coming in to warm up, then repeat. It was the perfect way to have fun before we got back into the swing of working.
PictureThomas & Michaela

We practically forced my big brother and his fiance Michaela to come over and play in the snow with us. After they arrived we walked down to the creek in our neighborhood and it was absolutely breathtaking.

Picture
The walking path was covered in snow as was the bridge. I'm still amazed that we got 7" of snow in South Carolina and I loved every minute. Well except the ice in our driveway I can't tell you how many times I almost fell.

PictureDaisee Mae romping in the snow

Right after Daisee Mae was added to our family we had the big ice storm. She was just a wee little thing when there was a smidgen of snow. This time she was having a blast in the snow. Running, chasing her frisbee, and walking down the street in the snow and snowflakes. I think she enjoyed it just as much we did.

Well that's all for now; it was incredible to have a snow day and we all felt so thrilled that the Lord allowed it to "Snow in Dixie". I'll write again about the wedding as soon as I have pictures to go along with it. In the meantime we're working on organizing and putting everything back in it's place so we can return to work.

                                                          Love,
